Description

Franciacorta in all its purity. This is the Berlucchi '61 Nature sparkling wine, produced by Guido Berlucchi winery from 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Nero grapes, coming from the vineyards owned by Arzelle, Rovere, San Carlo and Ragnoli. After a soft crushing, the alcoholic fermentation is activated in steel vats, with refinement of the best parcels in oak barrels for about 6 months in contact with the yeasts. This cuvée is prepared in the spring following the harvest, exclusively with vintage wines. Second fermentation in the bottle and subsequent aging on the lees for at least 5 years, followed by another 6 months after disgorgement.

TASTING NOTES

Berlucchi '61 Nature is a very elegant Franciacorta, designed for connoisseurs who appreciate the nuances of Franciacorta's purest taste, without the addition of dosage, in a strict Nature style. Abundant and creamy foam, with a good persistence of a faint crown; thin and sinuous perlage. It has an intense straw yellow colour with slight coppery nuances. Complex and elegant, characterized by a vivid note of yellow fruits and candied citrus that come together on the nose with brioche aromas. On the palate, the wine is characterized by structure and power supported by good acidity; the sapid finish gives dynamism and gustatory tension. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 10-12 °C.
