Lampo Morellino di Scansano DOCG
Morellino di Scansano "Lampo" of San Felo winery is produced with selected grapes of Sangiovese 90% and Ciliegiolo 10%, cultivated in soils exposed to the north-west winds.
The fermentation takes place in steel tanks at controlled temperature (max 27 °C) and malolactic fermentation takes place in the same tanks. Then, it ages in barrels for 8-9 months. After clarification and filtration at the end of January, the wine is bottled and sold on the market.
It shows a beautiful ruby red colour; complex and sophisticated aromas of red fruits, combined with a perfect spicy background; soft and enveloping tasting with refined tannins. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 18 °C.

The passion for the cultivation of the wine, the attachment to traditions, coupled with the desire to provide a modest but still significant contribution to the promotion of the Maremma, made it possible in 2001 to the family Vanni, to realize a dream: to found the company "San Felo", a wonderful farm located in the heart of "the land of Butteri", right on the summit of Poggio la Mozza, a few kilometers from Grosseto. The San Felo Company has invested heavily on the future creating a cellar of over 1000 square meters and whose extension works have not yet been completed.
5FrancescoRusso181261Una piacevolissima scoperta. Rosso rubino intenso. Al naso si presenta con sentori di frutti rossi . Al palato è morbido, avvolgente, con un tannino mai aggressivo oltre ad essere abbastanza persistente e avvolgente. Gustato fino all'ultimo bicchiere.
