Campo Vecchio Lazio Rosso IGT
Campo Vecchio Lazio Rosso IGT is a red wine from Lazio produced by Castel de Paolis winery and made from 50% Syrah, 30% Cesanese and 20% Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes. The grapes come from vineyards of volcanic origin, composed by tuff soils. After the harvest, the grapes ferment in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24-28 °C for about 10-12 days. The wine completes the refinement 50% in barriques and 50% in steel.
Campo Vecchio Rosso has a ruby -red colour. Scents of red fruit, especially blackberries and raspberries, followed by a sweet and spicy background. In the mouth it is well-balanced, with sweet tannins and good minerality. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 16-18 °C. Uncork half an hour before serving and serve in medium-sized glasses.
