Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOC Cascina Giovinale
Cascina Giovinale's Barbera d'Asti DOC is a perfect red wine for the everyday table, obtained from 100% Barbera grapes.
The harvest usually takes place in the first ten days of October, with destimming and crushing of the grapes. After maceration on the skins for about 10 days, fermentation is carried out at a controlled temeprature of 28-30 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation and final refining in the tank.
This Barbera d'Asti has a bright ruby red color. Intense and fruity aromas, characteristic of the vine. In the mouth it is very tasty, sapid and persistent. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 18 °C.

This Barbera d'Asti is the ideal pairing for first and second courses of meat, excellent with chicken, and it is the right wine to choose for daily lunches or dinners.

Cascina Giovinale is an old farmhouse already mentioned in the chronicles of the late nineteenth century, which inspired Anna and Bruno Ciocca, both "nicesi" and with a great love for the territory. Anna and Bruno decide prodcing high quality wines exclusively with grapes of their own vineyards, enhancing their characteristics and identity. Thus, in the '80s, the farm was founded, with 7 hectares of vineyards and a winery in Nizza Monferrato, on the top of the San Nicolao hill.
