Pinot Nero Alto Adige DOC Valle Isarco
Pinot Noir is a wine of noble origins, originating from French Burgundy and also cultivated in South Tyrol. Excellent expressions are found in the lower Valle Isarco. The Pinot Noir of the Valle Isarco winery is made from 100% Pinot Nero grapes which, once harvested, are left to macerate at a controlled temperature in steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation and maturation on fine lees in large wooden barrels.
Valle Isarco Pinot Nero has a lively ruby red colour. Fruity, intense aroma, with notes of wild berries. In the mouth it is dry, the taste is full and very pleasant, thanks to a soft and velvety tannic structure, rather contained. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 18-20 °C. If well preserved, this wine can age for 3-6 years.
