Kerner Alto Adige DOC Valle Isarco
The Kerner grape is a cross between Schiava and Riesling, created in Weinsberg, Germany, around 1930. Despite the late ripening of the grapes, a full-bodied and tasty wine is obtained which is highly appreciated. The Kerner Alto Adige DOC of Cantina Valle Isarco is made from 100% Kerner grapes, softly pressed and left to ferment at a controlled temperature, followed by maturation on noble lees in stainless steel tanks. The wine does not carry out any malolactic fermentation.
The Kerner Valle Isarco is straw-yellow in colour with greenish understones. The aromas are fresh, intense and spicy, finely aromatic. In the mouth it is perceived a well-balanced balanced acidity, a right aromatic with a light muscatel note, with aromas of peach and apricot. Its evolutionary capacity is estimated at 3-5 years and we suggest serving it at a temperature of 8-10 °C.

The first location was established in 1961 in the historic cellar of Maso Reinthalerhof with Anton Gfader, owner and chosen as the first director by the 24 founders.
