Lusirà Syrah Sicilia DOC
The wine Lusirà of Baglio del Cristo of Campobello winery is made from 100% Syrah grapes and represents the best expression of the Sicilian Syrah, which has found its promised land in 4 hectares of winery's vineyard. The harvest is made by hand; very soft pressing and maceration of about 18 days at controlled temperature. The wine remains 14 months in French oak barrels (Nevers, Tronçais, Allier - 1/3 new by 225lt) and it ages at least 12 months in bottle before being sold.
The main elegance of this wine stands in its aromatic intensity. You will taste hints of complex red fruits, up to more spicy and vanilla aromas. Caressing tannins. This wine has an aging potential of at least 10 years. We recommend serving it at a temperature of 18-20 °C.
