Pinot Grigio Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Arzenton
Arzenton's Pinot Grigio is a monovarietal white wine from Collio Orientali del Friuli DOC area. The grapes are harvested, selected by hand and moved to the cellar, where they are subjected to soft pressing, in order to avoid oxidative damages that would otherwise threaten the aromatic profile. After malolactic fermentation at low temperatures, the grapes are subjected to alcoholic fermentation and the obtained wine is decanted and aged in steel tanks on its lees, for a period of about 7 months.
Pale straw yellow colour with greenish undertones. Pinot Grigio by Arzenton opens to the nose with pleasant hints of lemon leaves, citrus, cedar wood, slightly dehydrated apricot, dried aromatic herbs and slight hints of summer mash vegetable. In the mouth it is persistent and round with a marked pungent minerality, slightly sapid and with a citrin vein, delicately blends into herbaceous tones. We suggest serving it at 10-12 °C.
