Arabesque Vermentino Toscana IGT
Arabesque is the name of a ballet step and it is this classic sequence that inspired Princess Natalia Strozzi to create the label of this white wine from Maremma, inspired by her experience as a dancer. Vermentino grapes come from Tenuta I Massi, one of Guicciardini Strozzi's estates located in the province of Grosseto. Here the wine making process consiste off-skins fermentation in steel, through a rigorous control of fermentation temperatures. The wine refines in steel.
Straw-yellow colour with greenish hues. Typical varietal aromas of fine white fruits, especially apple. On the palate, Arabesque is savory and fresh, pleasantly soft with good persistence. We suggest serving it at 10-12 °C.
FOOD MATCHING SUGGESTIONS
Arabesque Vermentino Toscana IGT by Tenute Guicciardini Strozzi is an excellent Tuscan Vermentino that pairs well with fish dishes typical of Maremma and the Tyrrhenian area, such as "Cacciucco alla livornese" (traditional fish stew of Tuscany), but also with white meat or medium-aged cheese.
