Aglianico del Vulture DOC Martino
The Aglianico del Vulture DOC produced by Martino winery is a red wine of volcanic origin, coming from the slopes of Monte Vulture, the extinct volcano of Basilicata. Aglianico grapes are harvested at the end of October. After a maceration on the skins, the grapes perform alcoholic and malolactic fermentation before refining in steel for 18 months and in the bottle for a long time.
It has an intense ruby colour with purple undertones. The aroma is complex, ample, intense with very evident fruity notes of morello cherries and strawberries. Sapid, warm, velvety and persistent on the palate. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 18-20 °C, in a large glass, taking care to uncork at least an hour before serving.
