Corderíe Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG of Astoria Vini winery is a sparkling wine made from Glera grapes, cultivated in winery's vineyards at about 150 m. s.l.m.. After a soft pressing of the grapes and the settling of the must, the primary fermentation takes place at 18-19 °C in steel with selected indigenous yeasts. The wine is kept on the 'noble lees' for about one month and then transferred into an autoclave for second fermentation. The second fermentation takes place always at 16-18 °C steel always on selected yeasts for about 25-30 days. It follows aging on the lees for a few days, after which the wine is bottled and rests for a few weeks before being marketed.
The strength and determination in the choice of selected grapes make this Corderíe Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG a perfect expression of its territory and of the typical character of Valdobbiadene Prosecco. The spring and citrus scents are so harmonious that they make this prosecco enjoyable at every occasions.
Perlage is fine and persistent. Light straw yellow colour, the Corderíe Prosecco Superiore DOCG gives off the nose an elegant, clean, fruity aroma. The taste is pleasantly acidic, harmonious at the same time.
