Müller Thurgau Abbazia di Novacella
Müller Thurgau of Abbazia di Novacella is an aromatic white wine made from 100% Müller Thurgau grapes, grown in the winery's vineyards in Varna (Bressanone), about 600-700 above sea level. As the most white wines of South Tyrol, this Gewürztraminer is vinified in stainless steel to to keep intact the organoleptic characteristics of the variety. Grapes are harvested in mid-September and, after the stainless steel maceration at 20 °C with natural yeasts, the wine is refined in stainless steel tanks for six months.
This Müller Thurgau has a very light greenish yellow colour. The nose reveals a large bouquet of mountain flowers and summer fruits, apple and citrus. Slightly aromatic, fresh and fruity on the palate. We suggest to serve it at a temperature of 10-12 °C.

Abbazia di Novacella
Few estates, perhaps none, can look back and tell a long-lived wine history like that of the Abbazia di Novacella, where the order of Augustinians produces wine for almost nine centuries. Today the Abbey is first and foremost a spiritual place and, among the many activities, there is also one of the most important and constant flourishing wine production, entrusted to the skill of the oenologist Celestino Lucin.
