Kerner Praepositus of Abbazia di Novacella winery is an exceptional white wine. Kerner grapes grown in Varna (Bressanone) are harvested in early October and vinified in stainless steel at about 20 °C with selected natural yeasts. The wine refines int the bottle for about 3 months before be on the market.
You can't rule the heart! The golden colour with greenish undertones catches immediately your attention. On the nose you notice fruity hints of ripe peach, dried apricot, orange peel, ginger and elderberry flowers. The Kerner Praepositus is precise and punctual: fascinating and elegant aromas, alternating a succession of fragrances that seem to follow the hand of a genial painter creating his painting, and that prelude to a juicy flavour and great freshness. Exciting as a great work of art. We recommend serving it at a temperature of 12 °C.

Abbazia di Novacella
Few estates, perhaps none, can look back and tell a long-lived wine history like that of the Abbazia di Novacella, where the order of Augustinians produces wine for almost nine centuries. Today the Abbey is first and foremost a spiritual place and, among the many activities, there is also one of the most important and constant flourishing wine production, entrusted to the skill of the oenologist Celestino Lucin.
