Cantina di Soave
Cantina di Soave was founded in 1898 in Soave, Veneto, and since then it has become one of the main and most qualified wineries of the Italian and international wine scene. Year after year, Cantina di Soave has created a highly selected mosaic of production sites and vineyards that today it embrace 5 territories in the Eastern Veronese area and it includes 3 major DOC classifications: Soave, Valpolicella and Durello.
7 are the operational headquarters, starting from the historic company in Via Roma inaugurated in 1930 in the center of Soave to which were added: the Directional and Production Center inaugurated in 1962 just outside the walls of Soave; Cantina di Cazzano di Tramigna and Cantina di Illasi, which are dedicated to the production of Valpolicella wines and represents the grape drying centers for the production of Amarone della Valpolicella; Cantina di Montecchia di Crosara, which is dedicated to the production of sparkling wines made from Cantina di Soave, especially Lessini Durello. Inaugurated in 2003, there is also Borgo Rocca Sveva, a center of excellence in wine production where Rocca Sveva wine selection are produced, toegether with other Metodo Classico sparkling wines.
Thanks to a system of selection of cutting-edge grapes, Cantina di Soave today is able to differentiate production to better satisfy an increasingly demanding and complex market. In detail, the "Rocca Sveva" wines line represent the highly refined production of Cantina di Soave: veritable enological jewels of the Veronese tradition. The grapes that make up Rocca Sveva wines are 100% located in the hilly area east of Verona. A land dedicated to producing traditional wines under three mail italian classifications: Soave DOC, Valpolicella DOC, Garda DOC, for a total area of about 50 hectares. Tasting these wines means taste wines that represents the icons of Verona’s great winemaking traditions.
